******************************************************

If you are a subscriber to HIVE blogs, we want to let you know that UK data protection law changes on 25 May 2018 when the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect. This new legislation gives you more control over how your data is used.

We are taking this opportunity to update our subscription sign up options to make sure we provide our HIVE blog readers with the information they want, when they want to receive it. This means that if you are already a subscriber, emails you currently receive will stop and all readers will have the opportunity to sign up for new email updates as soon as the new subscription option is in place.

Oxford University Hospitals - Patients Open visiting survey

We would like to know your views about the introduction of an open visiting policy for the Trust. There is a strong evidence base for the benefits of open hospital visiting, and Chief Nurse Sam Foster is passionate about improving flexibility around visiting within Oxford University Hospitals; "We understand how stressful being in hospital can be both for the patient and their loved ones and know how much of a boost to a patient's morale and recovery visits from friends and relatives can be." (Sam Foster)

As part of an engagement process we are consulting with staff, patients, their friends, family and carers via surveys.
Please could you give us your views: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/CNZFRZS

The survey will close on Tuesday 22nd May.

If you need any support to complete the questionnaire or if you would like to give feedback via an alternative method, please contact the Patient Experience team on Patient.Experience@ouh.nhs.uk or by calling 01865 740 892.
