Royal British Legion Riders Branch 2017

RBLR 1000 2017

Saturday 24th June

About the Ride

The RBLR1000 was established in 2009 to raise funds for the Poppy Appeal and to encourage riders to challenge themselves in a uniquely supportive event. It also gains the participants who complete the ride an Iron Butt certification.
This year's ride takes place on Saturday the 24th of June. The start and finish point is Squires Cafe Bar. This year you have a choice of five routes: North (clock-wise and anti clock-wise), South (clock-wise and anti clock-wise)and a 500 mile route (anti clock-wise only).

About IBA

The Iron Butt Association is dedicated to safe, long-distance, endurance motorcycle riding. They have over 60,000 members world-wide. One of their more popular slogans is: "The World Is Our Playground."
The Iron Butt Association is not a club as such. There are no membership fees. There is only one way to become a member - you must successfully complete a certified IBA ride. Read more about the IBA here.
