Earn some extra money - sign up to work for Cherwell District Council on polling day Thursday 4th May 2017

Residents looking to earn some additional money in time for the summer holidays can sign up to work at this year’s county council election on 4 May.
Vacancies are available for people to work as poll clerks and presiding officers at polling stations across Cherwell on the day of the election.

Presiding officers must have been a poll clerk at least three times to apply for the post but no experience is required to work as a poll clerk.
Alternatively people can apply to work as a verification assistant working after the close of poll (10pm) on 4 May at Spiceball Leisure Centre in Banbury.
Rates of pay vary for poll clerks, presiding officers and for verification assistants. Mileage can also be claimed for those who travel.
